Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage Suits Up This October; Pre-Downloads Are Now Open

Bandai Namco Entertainment has recently made an exciting announcement regarding the highly anticipated global English version of Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage.

The game’s official Twitter account revealed that players worldwide can expect the release this mid-October. Both Android and iOS users will be able to join in on the action and immerse themselves in the captivating world of Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage.

Currently, the game is open for pre-registration on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and Bandai Namco will give out in-game rewards after certain milestones are reached at launch.

The Japanese release of the Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage took place on 30 November 2021. Since its launch, the game has achieved an impressive milestone, being downloaded more than three million times. This level of popularity highlights the immense success and widespread appeal of the game within the gaming community.

In terms of gameplay, UC Engage allows one to assemble a team of Mobile Suits and assign renowned pilots from the Gundam series to control them. This is done through a gacha system, which adds an element of excitement and randomness to the game. Players then have the opportunity to collect and deploy a variety of Mobile Suits and pilots, allowing for strategic and dynamic battles. Once gathered their group of Mobile Suits, they will participate in an automated battle. The outcome of these battles is heavily influenced by the strategic placement of the Mobile Suits and the combination of team members, as these factors greatly affect the likelihood of winning.

The game’s storyline will encompass both the reimagined tales from the Universal Century (UC) universe and fresh plotlines, all presented through animated cutscenes reminiscent of classic Gundam animes like the original 1979 series and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. These cutscenes will not only retell the original stories but also introduce new scenarios, combining the nostalgic essence of early Gundam animations with fresh and exciting content.

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage is set to launch for iOS and Android devices on 17 October 2023.
