First Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Insider Video Showcases Traversal Mechanics & The City Of Metropolis
By Alleef Ashaari|November 16, 2023|0 Comment
Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios have released new details for Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League.
In the new video, the developers confirm that the game will not be as gritty as the Batman Arkham Knight trilogy and that the Metropolis map will be twice the size of Gotham City in Batman Arkham Knight. We also get our first glimpse at gameplay footage from “an early part of the game”, when Amanda Waller sends the Suicide Squad into Metropolis to fight Brainiac.
We get to see the team break into the iconic Hall Of Justice. There are a couple of easter eggs, including mentions of Shazam villain Dr. Sivana and Poison Ivy.
Harley Quinn steals a Batman grappling hook, Deadshot steals Deathstroke’s jetpack and Captain Boomerang steals a Speed Force Gauntlet that gives him super speed. Meanwhile, King Shark has super strength so he can jump high. These will be the main traversal method for each character.
The first superhero you’ll meet is Green Lantern, John Stewart.
Penguin makes a cameo too.
The game will feature melee attacks but it’s still a third person shooter at its core.
Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League will launch for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on 2 February 2024. The new release date will be almost a year after its previously planned 26 May 2023 release date.
During The Game Awards 2022 last year, Rocksteady Games revealed our first look at an evil Batman in their upcoming Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League. The late Kevin Conroy will be voicing the game’s version of Bruce Wayne AKA Batman.
