Resident Evil 4 Remake Announced For Apple Devices December 2023; Pre-Order Now Available

Capcom has announced the release date for the iOS version of the Resident Evil 4 remake, bringing the surreal horror to iPhone and other Apple devices this December along with the DLC “Separate Ways”.

According to its official Twitter account, Resident Evil 4 remake is coming to Apple devices such as iPhone 15 Pro, iPads, and Macs on 20 December 2023. Using the “Play Before You Buy” format, players will be able to download and start a set early portion of the game for free before having to buy it in order to access the full game.

The game will also be compatible with a variety of controllers for Apple devices. Furthermore, it supports both keyboard and mouse controls on Macs and customizable touch controls on iPhones and iPads for easy portable play on the go. With Support for Universal Purchase and cross-progression between iPad, iPhone, and Mac, players can play Resident Evil 4 at home and outdoors, transferring their saves from one device to the next.

For those who wish to get firsthand, the game is currently available for pre-order on the Apple App Store, for $59.99/RM280.24 for the full game and $19.99/RM93.38 for the DLC pack, a total of $79.98/RM373.63 once launch.

The specified date shown on the Apple App Store for the game’s release is temporary. As previously mentioned, Capcom has confirmed that the game will become available globally on 20 December 20 2023 for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPad (equipped with the Apple M1 chip or a newer version), and macOS (equipped with the Apple M1 chip or a newer version).
