HoYoverse has announced the release date of action-adventure RPG title Genshin Impact’s newest update.

Update 4.3, “Roses and Muskets”, will be out on 20th December for all platforms the game is on: PC, PlayStation consoles, and mobile devices (iOS, Android). The game’s new quest involves the Fontinalia Festival, as well as add story character Navia (Spina di Rosula president) and newcomer Chevreuse to the gacha character pool.

“In this festive atmosphere, two firearm enthusiasts, Navia and Chevreuse, will join the game as playable characters. Renowned as the president of Spina di Rosula, Navia, a 5-star Geo claymore wielder, is capable of firing “Rosula Shardshots” from her elegant yet lethal gunbrella. The number of shots is determined by “Crystal Shrapnel,” which is accumulated either by obtaining Elemental Shards from Crystallize reactions or her Elemental Burst. Navia’s Elemental Burst also deals solid AOE Geo damage by bombarding her enemies.”

In addition, the trading card game minigame Genius Invokation will get a major update with brand-new cards and a limited-time Heated Battle Mode.

Teyvat-travelling will also have new optimizations and quality-of-life changes, like the “one-click function” and expedition rewards-collection option.
