Indie Title Slay The Princess Sold 100K Copies
By Jonathan ToyadVerified|December 1, 2023|0 Comment
Indie developer Black Tabby Games has a lot to celebrate this tail end of the year.
The company’s indie visual novel title Slay The Princess, in which you can either do what the title says or talk your way to the titular character and see a ton of crazy dread-filled bunch of events unfold, did pretty well. The game has sold 100,000 copies and achieved a 91 on MetaCritic.
We played through Slay The Princess; while we don’t have a review ready due to our crazy schedule & obligations, we can reaffirm that the game deserves the praises. Slay The Princess offers a ton of twists and turns in its deceptively simple premise and delivers on its unique greyscale-and-pencil-sketch-like aesthetics. The latter bit conveys the horror vibe that Black Tabby Games is known for; the devs did create Scarlet Hollow after all, which was a noteworthy horror title you should also check out.
You can check out the accolades trailer below. Slay The Princess is out right now.
