On Christmas (25 December 2023), director Zack Snyder unveiled a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Rebel Moon Part Two The Scargiver, which is slated to premiere on Netflix on 19 April 2024.
It’s a sequel to the recently-released Rebel Moon Part One A Child Of Fire, which premiered on Netflix on 22 December 2023.
Rebel Moon Part Two The Scargiver continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle, the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.
From Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind 300, Man of Steel, and Army of the Dead, REBEL MOON is a 2-part movie event decades in the making. It stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Bae Doona, Ray Fisher, with Charlie Hunnam and Anthony Hopkins as the voice of ‘Jimmy’, as well as Staz Nair, Fra Fee, Cleopatra Coleman, Stuart Martin, Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson, Alfonso Herrera, Cary Elwes, Rhian Rees, E. Duffy, Jena Malone, Sky Yang, Charlotte Maggi, and Corey Stoll.
In the meantime, check out what Zack Snyder had to say about the inspirations behind his Rebel Moon movies.
