Best Winter Sale Deals 2023

Cyberpunk 2077 (RM109.50, 50% off)

Night City’s vibrant streets have transformed into a visually stunning spectacle, thanks to CD Projekt’s continuous efforts over the past three years. If you’re seeking an immersive sci-fi action thrill, Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely worth exploring.

As you navigate through the treacherous and adversarial world, you will encounter a vast array of intriguing characters, including the iconic Keanu Reeves. Throughout your journey, you’ll acquire powerful weaponry, vehicles, and abilities that will significantly enhance your chances of survival. With the recently released Phantom Liberty DLC, now is the perfect time to experience all that Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer.

DREDGE (RM62.25, 25% off)

If you have a knack for fishing, why not test your skills in this compelling blend of fishing simulator and survival horror game? Dredge is an exceptional example of the genre-bending experiments for which the indie gaming scene is renowned. With its undeniably addictive gameplay, Dredge joins the ranks of games like Vampire Survivors, where players must be cautious to avoid getting sucked into hours of gameplay in a single sitting.

Your mission is to fish and dredge, all while striving to satisfy your financial needs by upgrading your boat with materials collected from the vast ocean. However, be forewarned that the ocean harbours eerie creatures that will confront you if you venture into the night. Dive deeper into our Dredge review if you dare plunge into the dark tides.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (RM119.50, 50% off)

The closest experience one can have in becoming a Jedi Knight, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor will satisfy the thirst of Star Wars fans as it unfolds five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Players will once again be reunited with Jedi Cal Kestis and his trusty droid companion BD-1. Cal, a Jedi survivor of Palpatine’s Order 66, continues to conceal his past and Force abilities from the Imperial Inquisition. No longer a Padawan, he is now an older and hardened Jedi Knight who has become even more determined in his fight against the increasing power of the Empire. Cal will be transported to far-off worlds at the edge of the galaxy, where he will encounter both allies and enemies alike, all as he strives to obtain justice for the murder of his Jedi brethren.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available with an incredible discount for a limited time. Now is the perfect time to embark on this exciting journey and save the world from the Empire. If you still need some convincing, check out our review here.

Get ready to strap on your boots, grab your lightsaber, and become the hero the galaxy needs.

Diablo 4 (RM192.00, 40% off)

Blizzard’s Diablo 4 is this year’s most talked-about action RPG for consoles and PC. The success of the game, which has surpassed an impressive $666 million in sales after just a week of its release, comes as no surprise. Diablo 4 stands out as a strong franchise instalment, surpassing its predecessors in various aspects.

The game strikes the perfect balance between content and complexity, offering an immersive experience without being overburdened by excessive systems and mechanics. It effortlessly caters to players of all skill levels, providing an engaging challenge that tests the action RPG enthusiast. Moreover, Diablo 4 excels at providing ample opportunities for co-op play, offering a diverse range of classes and customization options that can be tailored to suit individual playstyles.

With a stunning visual presentation and a wealth of loot, this addictive game serves as a gateway for both newcomers and long-time players. While it may not introduce groundbreaking innovations, Diablo 4 offers an exhilarating and immensely enjoyable experience that is hard to walk away from.

Against the Storm (RM44.85, 35% off)

Against the Storm is a remarkable survival city-builder that stands out from the rest by embracing chaos but maintaining a perfect balance. It evolves alongside you as you adapt and learn, ensuring that your experience is always fresh and unpredictable. At various points, the concept of a roguelike city building could wear thin, but Against the Storm manages to sidestep these concerns by presenting an endlessly deep gameplay experience.

Even the Queen’s wrath proved to be no match as we delved deep into this addictive game that provided us with over 300 hours of gameplay enjoyment. Find out more on our review.

God of War (RM104.50, 50% off)

First released on Playstation 4 back in 2018, PC gamers finally have a chance at experiencing this amazing story. God of War follows a heart-wrenching story filled with brutal challenges and encounters along the way. Journey on and fight monsters along the way as Kratos. The combat system feels absolutely smooth and there’s nothing like experiencing God of War for the first time.

Elden Ring (RM119.40, 40% off)

A dark fantasy action RPG game that will definitely get you hooked. If you are a fan of dark souls like games, this is the one for you! The open world is vast and beautiful. But be warned, this journey is definitely not an easy one. Be prepared to be constantly frustrated and stuck on bosses for awhile. Although it can be frustrating, it is oddly satisfying when you kill bosses!

Resident Evil 2 (RM22.25, 75% off)

A definite steal. A Capcom fan favourite. This remake is one that is worth going back to. Follow the gorgeous Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as you wander throughout the zombie-infested Raccoon City. Engage in frenzied combat with enemies, explore dark menacing corridors(with no zombies lurking, right?), solve puzzles to access more areas. This survival horror title paved the way for other remakes of the franchise.

Doom Eternal (RM29.99, 75% off)

A fast-paced and gory first-person shooter that keeps your blood pumping. It’s known to be the best Doom in the franchise. The gameplay is quite simple, there is a large selection of weapons and mods that you can acquire, and there are some clever albeit frustrating platformer segments. It’s just damn well satisfying to rip demons apart. The entire franchise is also up to sale for 76% off at RM89.71.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (RM47.25, 75% off)

Want a recent looter shooter on the cheap? You can’t go wrong with Gearbox’s Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which features a ton of classes you can mix and match for the ultimate loot-hoarding character, co-op play on the fly, and post-game dungeons and gauntlets to go through once you’re done with the 20+ hour campaign. Also, Will Arnett plays the bad guy, so get ready for tons of laughs going through his segments alone.

Pizza Tower (RM28.50, 25% discount)

One of our favourite 2D platformers this year is on a 25% discount. Play as the speedy and strong Peppino as he ploughs through the titular tower, each with its own quirks, gimmicks, and escape sequences once it’s Pizza Time! You’ll not only get addicted to its gameplay and controls, but also that catchy theme whenever the timer counts down!

Baldur’s Gate 3 (RM197.10, -10% discount)

The most talked-about (and most fan-drawn on X/Twitter/Patreon/DeviantArt) CRPG title next to Witcher 3 is getting a discount this Winter. It’s not a huge one, but still a noteworthy one nonetheless as it’s the first one since its September launch. Regardless of the price cut size, Baldur’s Gate 3 is still a must-own as it’s the quintessential RPG to play this year, and possibly years to come as Larian Studios is planning to support it further down the line.

Vampire Survivors Bundle (RM17.19, -36% discount)

The OG bullet heaven 2D action game is now on sale for an even cheaper price. For just under RM20, which is probably what a McDonald’s burger set is worth these days, you can get Vampire Survivors the base game and two of its DLC content: Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari. These two DLC packs feature new characters and items to prolong your horde-slaying experience. Even if it’s missing an actual vampire, the game is a thrill ride and will eat up your man-hours if you’re not careful.
