New Princess Peach Showtime Trailer Unveils Two More Transformations

Nintendo has revealed the latest trailer for the anticipated upcoming action-adventure game Princess Peach: Showtime, giving players a closer look at Peach’s new forms.

The trailer was posted on Nintendo of America’s official YouTube account, revealing two additional looks. The first look showcases Ninja Peach, employing stealth tactics and agility to ascend walls, enabling her to access higher ground. Also, there is Cowgirl Peach, who is equipped with a lasso rope that enables her to attack foes and showcases a brief chase sequence where she is on horseback pursuing a group of enemies.

Nintendo also showed more gameplay of Peach’s other transformations, which were confirmed in September 2023 on the Nintendo Direct.

The confirmed transformations of Princess Peach: Showtime includes:

  • Swordfighter Peach
  • Detective Peach
  • Parissiere Peach
  • Kung Fu Peach
  • Ninja Peach
  • Cowgirl Peach

In the game, Peach embarks on a quest to stop a devious duo, the Wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch, from wreaking havoc on Sparkle Theater’s stage productions. Her journey takes her through a theatrical stage version of the Mushroom Kingdom, where she is accompanied by the theatre’s guardian, Stella. Together, they must navigate the stage, overcome obstacles, and foil the villains’ nefarious plans using her showstopping abilities.

Princess Peach: Showtime is slated to launch for Nintendo Switch on 22 March 2024.
