PalWorld Guide: Best Base Locations for Resources
By Lewis LarcombeVerified|January 30, 2024|0 Comment
Welcome to the wild world of PalWorld, where picking the perfect base location is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, except the haystack is the size of the entire game world, and the needle is your sanity. But fear not, fellow Pals! We’ve scoured the lands and survived more wild Pals than we care to admit to bring you the scoop on the best base locations in this pixelated paradise.
So, you’ve decided to settle down in PalWorld, and you’re probably thinking, “Where the heck do I set up shop?” Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here are the six crème de la crème base locations that will make you the envy of all your Pal-loving friends:
You know that feeling when you have no clue what you’re doing, so you just randomly drop your base somewhere? Turns out, that ledge just below the first fast travel point isn’t too shabby. It’s like the Airbnb of PalWorld – cosy, with stone nodes and trees aplenty. Defendable too, with rocks and cliffs keeping your enemies at bay. Just be aware, it’s a beginner’s spot – no dungeons, Alpha Pals, or ore nodes. But hey, we all start somewhere!
Head southwest to the Hillside region, where autumn foliage is more abundant than you regret after a bad trade. There’s a spot with dense woodland – perfect for logging camps. A bit south of that, you’ll find a clearing with more ore nodes than you can shake a Pal at. Put your base in between, and you’ll swim in basic resources. Plus, a Syndicate base nearby acts as a built-in bouncer for your place.
East of the Sealed Realm of the Guardian dungeon lies a coal and ore paradise. It’s like Santa’s workshop for black gold. The only catch? Placing facilities might feel like arranging furniture in a Tetris game. But fear not, use some wood platforms, and you’ll have a base that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Just watch out for the narrow hilltop – we wouldn’t want your Pals tripping over their own feet.
Small but mighty, the Twilight Dunes region is the hidden gem of PalWorld. Coal galore and surrounded by Dumud and Digitoise habitats for that high-quality Pal oil you crave. Just beware of the large open space in the middle – perfect for a Palbox, but also perfect for potential hostile Pals. Build a fortress, set traps, and pray your Pals have been hitting the gym.
Looks can be deceiving – while it may seem like stone is the belle of the ball here, Seabreeze Archipelago has more tricks up its sleeve. Four dungeons with a side of sulphur, anyone? Plus, a chance encounter with Alpha Pals and a wandering merchant. The spot we picked has ore and stone nodes, trees, and even a skilled fruit tree – because who doesn’t love a well-rounded base location?
There you have it, intrepid Pal settler! Choose your base location wisely, and may your Pals be ever in your favour. Happy building!
