EVO 2024 Gaming Lineup Includes Tekken 8 And Street Fighter 6

The biggest fighting game tournament is now in its 2024 iteration. Happening in West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre, USA, from 19 to 21 July PST, EVO 2024 will feature the following fighting games on the main stage according to a recent livestream:
Making its debut in EVO 2024 is the latest 3D fighting game from Bandai Namco.
This Capcom fighting game made a great debut in last year’s EVO 2023, so it’s no surprise it’s making another main stage appearance this year.
Despite some controversies, Mortal Kombat 1 will be on the main stage.
No fighting game mega-event would be complete without an Arc System Works title. Guilty Gear Strive will be leading the anime fighting game charge as a main event EVO 2024 title.
Look forward to amazing SNK-related announcements in EVO Japan 2024 and EVO 2024.
For the first time, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising is getting some respect on the main stage.
Another anime fighter. Better this than Smash Bros, eh?
It’s been a while since this classic title gets on the main stage, so it’ll be interesting to see how many people will turn up for this. Last we check, you can play this on Fightcade.
Watch the full announcement (and a clip of a funny FGC-themed Chipotle ad) below. If you’re interested in flying to Las Vegas for this, you can buy your badges here. Sorry, Smash Bros. and platform fighting fans, but you have to remember that Sony has money in EVO.
