Last Epoch Reveals Big 1.0 Patch Notes Before Release
By Xandria Morden|February 20, 2024|0 Comment
Last Epoch, a game that’s been very underground is finally making its way out of Early Access this week. If you haven’t heard of it just yet, Last Epoch is an action RPG game, similar to the Diablo franchise.
Most Last Epoch players have declared the game to be the ‘perfect middle ground’ between Diablo 4 and Path of Exile. Diablo 4 has been taking a lot of heat lately, so the Last Epoch is coming in at a perfect time for ARPG fans. Eleventh Hour Games just released their Giga patch notes just a few days before release. The best part? They didn’t release the full changes, which means there is more to come.
Since this is the big transition for Last Epoch, coming out of Early Access, Eleventh Hour Games has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community feedback by incorporating numerous features and enhancements in this upcoming update. There have been more balance adjustments, changes to end-game content, as well as adding new types of enemies, not to mention, a whole new zone. The biggest change coming is the new trading system, which is supposedly being implemented in a unique way for everyone. The patch notes gave more details on the upcoming trade system:
On February 21st, within the world of Eterra you will find two Item Factions:
Version 1.0 of Last Epoch also introduces the Falconer, the highly anticipated third Rogue mastery class. All of the Falconer’s skills have been shown, as well as the Warlock mastery of the Acolyte.
Another interesting to note is that they have added the Offline Mode option, which is great. Considering how these days, online servers can get messy. The option to still be able to play while everything is down is perfect! Controller gamers, we have good news for you! There will also be full controller support.
The Last Epoch launches 21st of February, and we are excited to see how well it does. Stay tuned for our guides and review! Read the full patch notes over here.
