Multiplayer Sci-Fi Survival Horror Shooter Level Zero: Extraction Closed Beta Announced

Publisher tinyBuild and developer DogHowl Games have announced that they will be hosting a closed beta test for their first-person multiplayer sci-fi survival horror game titled Level Zero: Extraction.
The game is an updated version of the original concept, Level Zero, unveiled in 2022. the original game was touted to be an asymmetric horror title that revolved around a team of skilled big-brained scientists and their efforts to break free from the clutches of a facility that had been overrun by horrifying aliens.
Instead, the game is now focusing more on extraction and implementing a range of arsenals such as rifles, shotguns, flamethrowers, nail guns, pistols, grenades, mines, motion sensors, traps, and more to take down monsters that have rampantly overrun the research facility and even other mercenaries. Players will form three teams of three and will take on scavenging missions to compete for valuable loot, retrieve research data, and ultimately get out in one piece. Bringing out the loot will improve your reputation with traders, giving access to better gear and new perks. Adding to the mix is a team of two players who will control the aliens that stalk the map and prey on humans.
On the extraterrestrial front, they possess formidable abilities such as acid spit, live traps, vent crawling, EMP screams, heartbeat scans, and more. While the alien creatures can only be killed by light, just like in Alan Wake, it will require some cunning tactics to deploy lights while fighting off other humans. Players can level up their beast and then sell it to scientists to reset the progression and obtain in-game currency.
Level Zero: Extraction closed beta takes place on 15 – 18 March 2024 for PC via Steam. If you are interested in participating, head over to the Steam page and click the “Request Access” button.
