Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition Launches Later This February

Capcom has made a surprising announcement that the Resident Evil 4 remake will be getting the Gold Edition, scheduled to release next week. The Gold Edition will include the base game, Separate Ways DLC, as well as the Extra DLC Pack.

As part of the Gold Edition, additional content previously exclusive to the Deluxe Edition will also be included along with The Mercenaries mode as free DLC.

Separate Ways is originally an unlockable side episode in the original game, Resident Evil 4. This narrative follows covert operative Ada Wong, as she becomes entangled in a web of chaos within the Los Illuminados cult while carrying out her mission. Ada’s story unfolds parallel to the main game, adding more depth and detail to the events surrounding protagonist Leon.

The Extra DLC Pack includes additional costumes/filters for Leon S. Kennedy, including the Casual, Romantic, Hero, and Villain styles. Additionally, the pack includes Casual and Romantic costumes for Ashley. Leon also receives the Sunglasses (Sporty) accessory, the Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker weapons, an “Original Ver.” Soundtrack Swap, and the Treasure Map: Expansion item.

The Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition is slated to launch on 9 February 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
