Guilty Gear Strive Season 4 In Development, With A Season 3 Character Tease That’s Sure To Slay

Fans who love their vampires in their anime fighting games, rejoice. Slayer is coming to Guilty Gear Strive.

Or at least that’s what’s being teased at the end of the Arc World Tour Finals 2023. Arc System Works showed off a trailer that announces a Guilty Gear Strive Season 4 DLC in the works. This trailer is then capped off with a pic of the final Season 3 character tease: a silhouette of bats and a spiky hair character.

Fans can clearly tell that the next character will be Slayer, a monocle-sporting vampire whose fighting style is close combat boxing. Gameplay-wise, back in Xrd and the past games, he’s known for his fast bob-and-weaves and explosive damage, but at the cost of below-average movement and limited range.

Unless it’s another spikey-haired character in the Guilty Gear universe who has a fondness for bats, we’re pretty sure Slayer is coming. The Season 3 final DLC character will be out on May 2024. Full announcement video and cosplay Slayer cheering below.
