Indian-Developed Battle Royale, Indus Surpasses 10 Million Pre-Registrations & Unveils Beta Expansion

India’s prominent game developer, SuperGaming, has announced that its upcoming Indo-Futuristic battle royale game, Indus, has garnered over 10 million pre-registrations on Google Play for Android devices. This comes after the company conducted a closed beta program in February for Android users to test the game.
Roby John, CEO and co-founder of SuperGaming expressed surprise at reaching the 10 million pre-registration mark before the game’s launch, attributing it to the overwhelming support from the gaming community. In celebration of this milestone, SuperGaming will be expanding its beta program by distributing 200,000 beta keys, along with introducing new rewards such as unique skins and charms.
While acknowledging the huge demand, Roby John assured players that efforts are being made to provide more beta keys. Players can expect to engage in the full battle royale experience on their devices, exploring the map Virlok and enjoying new features tested through previous community playtests and tournaments.

To obtain beta keys, players can sign up on the official Indus Beta key site, indusbeta.com, and redeem them upon receipt. Exclusive cosmetic items will be rewarded to early supporters, which won’t be available at the game’s launch.
Additionally, SuperGaming unveiled a new feature called Grudge through an extended trailer, available in multiple languages. The Grudge System allows players to hold grudges against rivals they’ve been defeated by, ensuring preferential matching in future matches and offering rewards for eliminating them.
Indus is designed to run smoothly on low-end Android devices from 2022 onwards, with 2023 flagships achieving higher frame rates and visual quality. This accessibility, with playable performance on devices priced around US$100, aims to attract a wide audience and promote global adoption. SuperGaming continues to optimize Indus to support even more devices, although visual quality may vary depending on hardware and user settings.
