Oppenheimer Blows Up Oscars 2024 With A Booming Seven Awards

The Oscars 2024 (Oscars 96 or The Academy Awards 2024) took place earlier today. Oppenheimer was the biggest winner, with SEVEN awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Lead Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography and Best Film Editing.

Coming in a close second was Poor Things, which won FOUR awards. Other highlights include The Boy And The Heron becoming the first Studio Ghibli movie since Spirited Away in 2003 to win Best Animated Feature and Godzilla Minus One winning Best Visual Effects.

In comparison, Barbie only won ONE award (Best Adapted Screenplay) while Martin Scorcese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon won ZERO awards.

Also, for some reason, John Cena presented the award for Best Costume Design… naked.
