Stellar Blade Demo Confirmed Later This Month

Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and South Korean developer SHIFT UP have finally confirmed the release date of the playable demo for the action-adventure game, Stellar Blade. The demo will allow players to experience the beginning of the game, featuring a tutorial phase and the first stage up to the first boss fight.

Director Kim Hyung Tae revealed in a recent PlayStation blog post that the demo will take place from the very beginning of the story. Players will take on the role of Eve, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad who is dispatched to Earth on a mission to reclaim the planet from the Naytiba, an alien species. During this stage, players will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the game’s combat mechanics while exploring Eidos 7, a human city that has been infested by the Naytiba.

who successfully navigate through the first stage of the demo will be granted a “little surprise” as a reward. Additionally, players who complete the demo will be able to carry over their save data to the full game, which is set to be released on 26 April 2024.

The Stellar Blade demo is available for PS5 starting Friday, 29 March 2024 from 7:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. GMT.
