Bethesda has announced that Fallout 76 has managed to surpass over one million players in a single day while the player count for the entire Fallout franchise as a whole has hit almost a whopping five million. That probably includes previous games such as Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3.

This sudden popularity can be attributed to the excellent first season of the Fallout TV series on Prime Video, which premiered earlier this month.

The Prime Video Fallout series cast includes Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys), Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers), Annabel O’Hagan (Law & Order: SVU), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).

The whole first season of the live-action Fallout series is now streaming on Prime Video Malaysia, and it’s one of the best video game adaptations ever made (check out our full review here). It’s already been renewed for Season 2.
