Manor Lords Hits Another Impressive Milestone on Steam Prior to Launch Date
By Ali'sha HarrisVerified|April 23, 2024|0 Comment
Manor Lords, a medieval city-building RTS game developed by Slavic Magic and published by Hooded Horse, has reached yet another significant milestone ahead of its official Early Access release this month.
The game, which has surpassed a remarkable 2.5 million wishlists on Valve’s Steam platform, has now achieved another milestone, reaching 3 million wishlists just four days before its official release. This impressive achievement places the game ahead of other highly anticipated titles such as Hades II, Black Myth: Wukong, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work and talent of the developer Slavic Magic, a one-person studio. Greg Stycze?, the brain behind Slavic Magic, has been dedicated to creating an immersive and captivating gaming experience for players.
Commenting on the milestone, Hooded Horse CEO Tim Bender expressed his admiration for Slavic Magic’s work. He stated:
“Slavic Magic has done amazing work. We’re honored and glad to be his publisher and help him realize his dream.”
With three million wishlist placements, Manor Lords is on course to be a major sales success when officially released later this month.
In Manor Lords, the stakes are high when it comes to combat. You’ll take control of multiple units, order them to move into positions, and it’s up to you to seek out the tactical advantage in any given situation. However, your soldiers are not just infinite resources that can be crafted at will. Units are primarily made up of actual citizens from your city, and they’ll need to down tools at their usual jobs to take up arms. If those people are contributing to resource production, you’ll feel their absence if you send them off to battle, and an even greater impact if you fail to bring them back home.
Manor Lords will be released in early access for PC on 26 April 2024 via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store, and will also be available day one on PC Game Pass (Game Preview).
