Publisher United Label Games and developer Sam Enright have announced the upcoming release of their 2.5D sci-fi adventure RPG, Beyond Galaxy. The game, which is slated to launch on multiple platforms this year, takes players on a thrilling journey through space.
In Beyond Galaxyland, players will assume the role of Doug, a high-schooler who is abruptly transported to a galactic zoo known as Galaxyland moments before Earth is mysteriously destroyed. As Doug, players will explore various planets, engaging in turn-based battles and solving puzzles along the way.
Additionally, players will have the opportunity to capture enemies and turn them into allies, enabling them to utilize their abilities in combat. Doug will be accompanied by his pet guinea pig, Boom Boom, who is equipped with firearm skills and a sentient robot named MartyBot, together in their quest to defend the world from an all-powerful entity known as “The End.”
In total, there are 25 major bosses that players must face, including space dragons and flesh-eating flowers. Each of these battles promises to be a challenging and engaging experience for players.
Although the release date has yet to be disclosed, Beyond Galaxyland is set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
