Tekken 8’s Lidia Sobieska Ready to Enter the Ring this Summer

Bandai Namco has revealed the next post-launch fighter to join the Tekken 8 roster, Lidia Sobieska.

The announcement was made on the official Bandai Namco YouTube channel, where a trailer was unveiled providing a sneak peek at the upcoming content. Currently, details regarding Lidia Sobieska are scarce, but we do know that she will be joining the Tekken 8 roster as part of the Season 1 update.

Players can expect a steady stream of free content updates throughout the year. One of them will focus on balancing the game, a new stage called “Seaside Resort” and a “Photo Mode” feature to be released in the Summer, alongside Lidia’s arrival.

Furthermore, Bandai Namco has revealed that a new main story chapter will be available this fall. The chapter seems to include Eddy Gordo as a notable character, hinting at potential storylines and developments. Plus, “Online Practice” and “Ghost vs. Ghost” will be launched to further enhance the gameplay experience for Tekken 8 players.

Tekken 8 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
