Unicorn Overlord Sales Surpass 500,000 Units Worldwide
By Ali'sha Harris|April 1, 2024|0 Comment
Publisher Atlus and developer Vanillaware have announced their acclaimed tactical strategy RPG, Unicorn Overlord has managed to sell more than 500,000 units in less than one month after it launched on 8 March 2024. This announcement was made on Atlus’ official website. To commemorate this milestone, the company has released an accolade trailer.
Despite launching the same month as the release of Rise of the Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2, Unicorn Overlord has received an impressive reception, selling out physical copies and topping Japanese sales charts for two weeks last month, according to Famitsu.
The game is set in the realm of Fevrith, a fantastical world in which five nations are at war for power and control. Players take on the role of Alain, the fallen prince, and embark on a journey to gather a mighty army and restore their ruined kingdom to its former glory. It features 60 recruitable characters for your army including humans, elves, beastmen, angels and more. You will forge bonds with them and send them into intense turn-based battles against rival armies seeking your destruction.
Unicorn Overlord is out now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review here.
