Anima Tokyo Opens in Hong Kong

Anime enthusiasts, we’ve got exciting news for you. Nestled in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui on Canton Road, Hong Kong, Anima Tokyo is the ultimate destination for fans of Japanese anime culture. Anima Tokyo is a first and one of its kind, offering an extremely unique shop-dine-exhibition Anime Experience Centre! Spanning about an impressive 80,000 square feet across three floors, Anima Tokyo aims to replicate the vibrant atmosphere of Japan’s iconic Akihabara district while adding a distinct Hong Kong twist.

At the core of what Anima Tokyo has to offer, is its extensive collection of anime merchandise and collectibles. There will be over 4,000 items on display, which also includes exclusive must-haves, collaborative creations, and brand-new products. From many classic series like “Mobile Suit Gundam” to beloved characters like “Astro Boy” and “Chibi Maruko-chan”, Anima Tokyo aims to celebrate rich history and the diverse genres of Japanese animation.

One of the highlights fans can enjoy is some immersive exhibitions, with the current showcase being a tribute to “Fullmetal Alchemist”. It features over 300 exhibits and collections, which includes rare memorabilia from the live-action film. The exhibition offers fans a chance to delve deep into the world of alchemy and adventure. Beyond shopping and exhibitions, Anima Tokyo also offers a range of entertainment option for visitors. Gamers can explore the latest releases from PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox in the game experience zone. Foodies can indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine at “Showaki Food Town”.  This is a retro dining arcade curated by a Michelin-starred team, offering a taste of the Showa era, alongside culture experiences like kimono dressing.

To celebrate its soft launch, Anima Tokyo is currently offering exclusive promotions and discounts for visitors. From discounted shopping to immersive experiences, the venue aims to provide a rewarding and memorable experience for anime fans in Hong Kong and beyond. Let’s just say, Anima Tokyo is a must-visit destination for anime enthusiasts all over the world!
