Publisher Team17 and developer Catchweight Studio will release their World War 1-inspired survival horror game, Conscript to multiple platforms this year.
In a setting of the Great War in 1916, you take on the role of a French soldier on a mission to locate his missing brother during the Battle of Verdun. The game is designed to provide an intense and captivating gameplay experience by blending classic survival horror elements with a compelling storyline.
Players will have to manoeuvre through intricate trenches, besieged forts, and the perilous no-man’s-land to find the protagonist’s brother. Conscript offers high replay value with its diverse difficulty settings, multiple endings, unlockable costumes, and bonus weapons.
Emphasizing item management and strategic route planning, the game’s level design presents players with intricate environmental puzzles to solve. It also features distinct World War I-themed environments that merge together, creating an immersive gameplay experience.
The game will be releasing a physical edition in addition to its digital release. The PC demo will be available on 10 June 2024 via Steam.
Conscript will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG in 2024.
