Diablo 4 Season 4: The Best Builds Per Class To Get To Level 100 Fast!
By Kakuchopurei|May 16, 2024|0 Comment
Diablo 4’s newest Season is up and ready for playing right now, featuring a new loot system that lets you customize your gear and items tenfold. And with each new Season comes a revamped power curve among its classes.
Diablo 4 Season 4 has buffed and nerfed all its five classes, with the Rogue getting the short end of the buff stick due to them being pretty overpowered the past few Seasons; at least in the early and mid-game. The Necromancer and Barbarian are the current top classes to use, with the Sorcerer just behind.
In any case, here are the recommended builds per class you should use if you want to get to level 100 quickly during the weekend, so that you can play with Season 4’s endgame loot customization/revamping system.
-You can get a double Elixir buffs, which may be a bug on Blizzard’s path. If you completed the Pinch of Poison sidequest (in Kehjistan) and gained access to Elixir of Antivenin, you can pair this Elixir buff with another Elixir (blue, yellow, normal) for a double Elixir buff. This means you get +16% (or so) experience gain instead of the usual +6%/+8% gain. So far, this hasn’t been fixed yet, so get double XP buffs to speed up the leveling process!
-Holy Bolt Elixir kills enemies quick as they explode into Holy Arrows when they die. This will speed up the mob-killing process in early stages, and can be crafted at the Alchemist in any town you’re in.
-Going through Nightmare Dungeons will net you XP faster than Helltide Events. First go through Helltide events, then when you’re at Tier 3 onward, do Nightmare Dungeons and attempt high tiers within that Tier so you can get to the Elias capstone dungeon as fast as you can.
-Use the Temper system as frequently as possible to buff up your overall damage. They only use materials, and you can farm them easily by playing the game and salvaging excess loot, which you’ll get by the droves.
Check out this guide from Raxxanterax for a full overview of the tips above.
After many Seasons, Necromancer’s minions are getting the respect they deserve since Diablo 2. This build is laidback in its approach: just let your Skeletons do all the work and jump in with Corpse Tendril and Army of the Dead when needed. In fact, this build can arguably carry you in the endgame if you decide not to respec. Having said that, the minion AI can get fickle at times especially with dungeon objectives that need destroying, so it’s best to just pay attention once in a while.

The gist of this leveling-up focused build is to use Bash in tandem with Upheaval to go Berserk and kill things in your way pretty fast. Leap and Charge gets you to mobs quick, while Bash stuns enemies and make them ripe to use Upheaval onto. Your Ultimate is Iron Maelstrom which is a good burst damage tool for bosses and mobs due to its very wide AoE effect.
While this build feels terrible at the start and has mediocre single-target abilities, you’ll feel the power soon enough once you’re at Tier 3 onward.

An old faithful build since Season 1. Chain Lightning Sorcerer does as advertised: Arc Lash + Fireball Enchantment + Chain Lightning + Unstable Currents Ultimate equals AoE damage and lots of dead mobs & foes. The Ultimate’s cooldown is quite long, so do find equipment and Temper your gear so that you can reduce its cooldown or amplify its post-Ultimate effects.

While this Druid build is great for speeding through the game, it’s best to change it to something stronger like a Werewolf Tornado or Hurricane Druid if you’re not feeling the oomph of this by level 90 onward. Having said that, this Druid build has a fast start and great AoE damage potential, alongside great spirit management since that’s the crux of a good Druid build.

With Twisting Blades Rogue already nerfed, and the recent One Shot Rogue build requiring a lot of high-level gear and Uniques to work, we’ll be recommending the Barrage Rogue build as it can be respecced easily to other arrow/bow/barrage-based build for the endgame. This archer build focuses on short-to-mid-ranged play, making it a great all-rounder build that lets you spam Barrage to your heart’s content.
Main Skills: Puncture, Barrage, Dash, Dark Shroud, Shadow Imbuement, Poison Imbuement

Basic Skills: Fundamental Puncture (5)
