DOOM The Dark Ages Announced, Coming In 2025
During the Xbox Games Showcase June 2024 live stream, Bethesda and id Software announced DOOM The Dark Ages, which will launch for the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox Game Pass and PC sometime in 2025.
DOOM The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal and the third instalment of the modern DOOM series. Developed by id Software on the latest idTech engine, DOOM: The Dark Ages is a single-player action FPS that tells the epic cinematic origin story of the DOOM Slayer’s rage.
