It’s time to rumble as SEGA’s Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble rolls out today for Nintendo Switch!
SEGA has released a new trailer showing the SEGA Pass DLC, which features new characters and style items from SEGA’s iconic characters – NiGHTS, Goro Majima, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Akira Yuki, to name a few.
Six characters are included in the DLC: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy from the Sonic series, Axel from the Crazy Taxi series, and Beat from the Jet Set Radio series. Sonic will be available at launch. The other characters will be released via post-launch updates. You can purchase the SEGA Pass separately or with the Digital Deluxe Edition. Alternatively, you can purchase each character separately.
Players can expect new game modes in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Play with up to 15 players online in battle mode, racing through a variety of courses to be the first to win or collect the most bananas before the timer runs out. For the first time in the series, you can even split the screen to play with up to 3 other friends on the same Nintendo Switch.
The best part of it all is the customization features, where players can choose from 300 items of clothing and accessories from head to toe to create their one-of-a-kind character. This is available in the base game for players to try out.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is out now for Nintendo Switch.
