The Top 5 Announcements From Summer Games Fest 2024
By Alleef AshaariVerified|June 8, 2024|0 Comment
Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2024 event took place earlier today, and there were a lot of announcements, including more than 20 reveals and articles (check them all in one easily accessible article by heading over here).
However, some of the announcements were definitely more exciting than others. Here are our top five from Summer Game Fest 2024:
It’s been a long time since the last Dragon Ball Tenkaichi Budokai game, so fans have been waiting for a new entry in this arguably best Dragon Ball fighting game franchise (yes, even better than the overrated Dragon Ball FighterZ).
We’re finally getting Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 11 October 2024.
Alan Wake 2 was one of the best games of 2023, and that’s incredible considering that it came out in a year with Baldur’s Gate 3 and other great games. Also, it continued threads which began in both the original Alan Wake game and 2019’s Control.
It looks like Alan Wake 2 will be even more of an official crossover between Alan Wake and Control, as Control protagonist Jesse Faden will be one of the playable characters.
Remedy fans are eating good!
A new game from Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama is always something to be excited about!
Sid Meier’s Civilization franchise is one of the most iconic strategy game franchises out there, so a new entry is definitely worth getting hyped about!
It’s the year of Shadow, so let’s hype up our favourite dark hedgehog, yeah?
