Kimi ni Todoke Season 3 Announced with New Trailer & Release Window

More than a decade after the release of Kimi ni Todoke Season 2, fans can finally witness what’s next in Sawako’s life and her circle of friends. Season 3 of the popular anime rom-com series will be getting its continuation with Kimi Ni Todoke Season 3: From Me To You.

To celebrate the upcoming series, the new trailer provides fans with a sneak peek into the upcoming episodes. Several key moments and the continued development of Sawako and Kazehaya’s romance are also shown. In this season, Sawako and her friends will embark on a school trip, where fans can also look forward to the side characters’ story development, which provides different themes of love, particularly Ayane and Chizuru.

Kenichi Matsuzawa will direct the new season, and Tomoko Konparu and Michiko Yokote will write the scripts. Production I.G, the studio behind the original series, will also return. Keeping the series’ signature musical resonance, the SENS Project will compose the music once again.

Most of the original cast will return, including the main characters Mamiko Noto as Sawako Kuronuma and Daisuke Namikawa as Shota Kazehaya. There are five supporting cast members: Yuichi Nakamura returning as Ryu Sanada, Miyuki Sawashiro as Ayane Yano, Yuko Sanpei as Chizuru Yoshida, Yuki Ono as Pin, Mamoru Miyano as Kento Miura, and Aya Hirano as Ume Kurumizawa.

Kimi Ni Todoke Season 3: From Me To You will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 1 August 2024. The first and second seasons are available on Netflix.
