Magical Delicacy for Switch Gets a Month Delay in Release

The anticipated cosy witch cooking platformer, Magical Delicacy, will need additional time to launch for the Nintendo Switch. The game will remain served up for other consoles as well as PC with the same release date, scheduled for this month.

Players will take on the role of a young witch named Flora, who embarks on a journey to the adventurer’s town of Grat. Her objective is to grow her magical abilities and master the art of cooking enchanting delicacies. Flora will collect various ingredients from shops and embark on a quest to gather more by foraging around the town. Additionally, she will be responsible for maintaining her garden, where she can cultivate ingredients.

As the game progresses, Flora will unlock new powers that enable her to explore more of the mysterious island. This opens up new possibilities and introduces new items for players to discover. One of the key aspects of the game is the opportunity to deliver meals to the hungry townsfolk. Flora will be able to prepare dishes using various tools in her upgradeable kitchen.

Publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Skaule mentioned the delay was because they needed “a little more time to cook.” On the bright side, players can still experience the game on other platforms while waiting.

Magical Delicacy is slated to launch for Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on 16 July, followed by the release for Nintendo Switch on 15 August 2024.

With its charming visuals, engaging gameplay, and enchanting storyline, this game is sure to leave players spellbound.
