The Hellboy Reboot Movie Unleashes Its First Hellish Trailer
The first trailer for the new Hellboy The Crooked Man has arrived. The Hellboy reboot movie was originally announced back in February 2023 after the box office failure of 2019’s previous Hellboy reboot.
Hellboy The Crooked Man is based on a screenplay co-written by Mignola based on the Hellboy The Crooked Man comics from 2008 and it is directed by Brian Taylor (Crank, Ghost Rider Spirit Of Vengeance).
Jack Kesy, who previously played Black Tom Cassidy in 2018’s Deadpool 2, plays Big Red AKA Hellboy himself.
It looks like Hellboy The Crooked Man will be a more low-budget fare than previous films and it will focus on gravitating more towards being a horror movie.
The synopsis reads:
“The new film will see Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia. There, they discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.”
