The Late Akira Toriyama’s Last Dragon Ball Anime Premieres This October
By Alleef Ashaari|July 19, 2024|0 Comment
Toei Animation has announced that the new Dragon Ball Daima anime will premiere in October 2024. This will be the last-ever work that the late legendary Akira Toriyama contributed to.
It will feature younger versions of characters like Son Goku, Vegeta and others. It seems like somebody uses the Dragon Balls to wish that every major Dragon Ball character is a young child again, which is similar to the situation in the previous Dragon Ball GT anime series (though it was only Goku who got turned into a kid in that one).
The most recent anime in the Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Super, ended back in March 2018. The franchise is ramping up hype again after releasing one of its best movies just last year with Dragon Ball Super Super Hero and with a new Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero game coming later this year.
Earlier this year in March 2024, we received the heartbreaking news of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyam’s passing. Check out our tribute to the late legend’s greatest and most iconic works by heading over here.
May Toriyama’s legacy continue forever!
