Transformers Galactic Trials Combines Racing And Roguelite Action; Out Later This Year
Publisher Outright Games and developer 3DClouds have announced an upcoming game in the popular Transformers franchise. Called “Transformers: Galactic Trials,” the game is an arcade robot racing game with roguelite combat. It’s the first game to feature the iconic robots in a racing game.
The reveal trailer showcases the hybrid racing game, where players can choose between Autobots and Decepticons (11 characters), engaging in combat encounters in Bot Mode and racing in each Transformer’s Alt Mode, consisting of 10 battle-race circuits. The game offers both solo and multiplayer modes, with progression through levels and specialized tournaments in Arcade Mode. Additionally, players can also customize tracks, weapons, and characters as well.
The game description reads:
Evil Nemesis Prime has stolen the Prime Relics, which bestow incredible powers on whoever possesses them. Now, the Autobots and Decepticons are in an explosive race to recover the relics – the future of Cybertron is in your hands.”
Alongside the announcement, this year will mark the 40th anniversary of the Transformers series. Transformers: Galactic Trials is set to release on 11 October 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
