Capcom is gearing up to showcase a promising lineup of games at this year’s Gamescom, including the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, which is in development for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
The event, scheduled to run from 21 August to 25 August in Cologne, Germany, will offer attendees the chance to dive into the latest chapter of the Monster Hunter saga at over 60 demo stations. Key members of the Monster Hunter team, such as series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, executive director and art director Kaname Fujioka, and director Yuya Tokuda, will also be present, providing deeper insights into the game directly from the Capcom Gamescom stage.
Attendees will have the opportunity to play as the first-ever guest character in the Street Fighter series, Terry Bogard from SNK’s Fatal Fury, who will be making his debut in Street Fighter 6. Players will be able to get hands-on with Terry and test out his moves before his worldwide release this fall.
The lineup also includes the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, which bundles Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth with Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit. Plus, the newly revealed Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and the AR mobile adventure Monster Hunter Now, which will be celebrating its first year at Gamescom.
With its marketing efforts for Monster Hunter Wilds accelerating, Capcom has recently dropped three gameplay trailers, highlighting new additions such as the Focus Mode and Seikret mount mechanics. Adding to the excitement, a new teaser focusing on the Insect Glaive weapon was released today, further teasing what’s to come in the game.
