Former Dishonored and Prey Devs Wolfeye Studios Shares First Look at Next Game
By Ali'sha HarrisVerified|August 8, 2024|0 Comment
Wolfeye Studios, a team majorly comprised of ex-Arkane Studios talent, has recently unveiled first look into its second game project, a yet-to-be-titled first-person retro sci-fi action RPG.
The team also shared snippets from the game, showcasing a desert canyon set against an assortment of retro-futuristic devices, featuring a workshop robot and a commanding drone among others. They have also confirmed that the unnamed game has complete from pre-production and is now into the full throttle of development phase.
Raphael Colantonio, the brain behind and the former head of Arkane Studios known for hits like Arx Fatalis, Prey, and the Dishonored series, Wolfeye Studios emerged from his desire to explore broader creative landscapes. He sought the freedom to delve into new ideas and take daring risks away from the high-pressure AAA game development environment. March 2022 saw the debut of Wolfeye’s initial offering, Weird West, an isometric RPG blending immersive simulation elements, which garnered critical acclaim.
For those interested in getting an early start of the game, Wolfeye Studios is opening up the opportunity for players to join the limited private Alpha through sign-ups on their official website. As of now, details regarding the game’s intended platforms or a potential release window remain under wraps.
