IShowSpeed Temporarily Banned from YouTube after Latest Stunt

YouTube star IShowSpeed has found himself on the receiving end of a ban from the platform. This development came after a video showcasing a daring stunt was deemed to violate YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

Despite his penchant for producing unpredictable content, Speed has cultivated a massive following on social media, boasting millions of followers. The ban came to light on 6 August, when Speed’s editor tweeted a screenshot from their YouTube channel dashboard showing a strike given by the platform.

The video involved Speed leaping over two incoming sports cars, specifically a Lamborghini and a McLaren, during a livestream. Although not his first stunt with supercars, this particular video was removed from Speed’s channel, leading to a reported two-week ban, per a verified fan account on Twitter.

It’s been reported that Speed has appealed the ban, though no updates have emerged. Last year saw Twitch reversing Speed’s permaban, raising speculations among fans about a possible return to the platform following this YouTube hiatus. However, it seems like a low possibility for now.

Speed now aims to engage his fans with livestreams documenting his travels and escapades. He has expressed plans to visit Southeast Asia and the Middle East in the near future.
