Kunitsu-Gami Path Of The Goddess Reaches New Milestone With Half A Million Players
By Alleef Ashaari|August 9, 2024|0 Comment
Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami Path Of The Goddess is a blend of sword dance action and tower defence strategy. Since its launch on 19 July 2024, the number of players has exceeded 500,000. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes making-of-video series starts releasing today. The first part explores the unique worldview created by the fusion of analogue and digital elements.
As a token of our gratitude to all players, Capcom is giving away three Mazo Talismans which can be equipped on the main character Sou: Jubilee, Dancing Crane, and Amaterasu, which is a collaboration with “Okami”. This gift is open to all players, including those who have already played Kunitsu-Gami Path Of The Goddess as well as those who will purchase the game in the future.
The Mazo Talismans presented in this title update each have unique designs and effects. Even those who have already completed the game are welcome to try them out. In addition, a sorting function has been added to the Mazo Talisman equipment screen, and minor bugs have been fixed.
The making-of video for Kunitsu-Gami Path Of The Goddess is released today. The first part highlights reference photography for stage production and the creation of effects using 3D scans of miniatures. It also includes interviews with the creators, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the unique worldview crafted through the fusion of analogue and digital techniques.
Kunitsu-Gami Path Of The Goddess is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Xbox Game Pass.
