Life is Strange: Double Exposure Shows off Key Location in New Trailer

Square Enix and developer Deck Nine Games have released a new trailer for the anticipated supernatural murder mystery game, Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The trailer provides a glimpse into Caledon University, a pivotal setting where the game’s main character will find herself embroiled in mystery and adventure.
Within the 2-minute preview, viewers are introduced to the atmospheric campus of Caledon University, meeting crucial characters and discovering a variety of activities beyond the central narrative. Players are invited to explore locales such as the Snapping Turtle Bar and a state-of-the-art observatory, offering a break from the intensity of the storyline to engage in stargazing through telescopes.
The narrative centres around protagonist Max Caulfield, a talented photographer at the renowned Caledon University, who is thrust into a chilling scenario when she discovers her new close friend, Safi, dead in the snow—a victim of murder. In a desperate attempt to save her, Max tries to use her long-dormant power to rewind time. Instead, she inadvertently opens a portal to a parallel timeline where Safi is alive but still in peril. With the killer poised to strike again in both timelines, Max must use her powers to shift between these parallel realities to solve the murder and prevent it from happening again.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam on 30 October 2024, followed by a Nintendo Switch version at a later date.
