Rumours regarding a possible PlayStation 5 Pro or PS5 Pro are heating up. Prominent leaker billbil-kun has revealed the alleged design and details for the PS5 Pro.

According to the leaks (source), the official name of the enhanced PS5 model will be PlayStation 5 Pro or PS5 Pro.

The leakers also claim that they have seen the official product box of the PS5 Pro. However, they can’t share the actual picture, so they have shared a sketch of what the PS5 Pro design looks like.

It looks similar to the recent PS5 Slim models but features three black stripes in the middle of the outer exterior. Apparently, the PS5 Pro will also be launching without a disc drive.

Last but not least, the leaks claim that the PS5 Pro will be officially announced sometime in September 2024 during a PlayStation State Of Play live stream.

At the time of writing, Sony Interactive Entertainment has yet to officially comment on anything regarding the PS5 Pro, so we’ll have to take all this with a grain of salt for now.

The PS5 was originally launched in November 2020, which means that the console is almost four years old at this point in time.
