The Crayon Shin-Chan Experience to Take Place in Kuala Lumpur 2024

AcoLab has just unveiled its next big venture after the successful Jujutsu Kaisen Experience, and it’s one that promises to delight anime fans in Malaysia with a more family-oriented theme. This time, the spotlight shines on the beloved series Crayon Shin-Chan.

The announcement came via AcoLab’s official Facebook page, teasing that those who correctly guessed the next theme would win prizes. The upcoming Crayon Shin-Chan event is set to blend elements of Van Gogh’s art within its design. Although details are still somewhat sparse, we know the event will feature over five immersive photo zones, serve themed food and beverages, and offer exclusive merchandise for purchase.

Hints suggest that the Crayon Shin-Chan Experience KL might kick off earlier than anticipated, especially since displays related to the event have already started appearing at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, where the experience will be held. Fans can expect more updates in the weeks to come.

Crayon Shin-Chan, a hit Japanese manga and anime series created by Yoshito Usui, follows the antics of a cheeky five-year-old boy, Shinnosuke “Shin-Chan” Nohara, and his daily life in Kasukabe with his family. With its humorous, satirical take on everyday family life, the series has captured the hearts of viewers globally, boasting 31 movies and 1,230 episodes.

The franchise is set to expand into the gaming world with the new casual adventure game, Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town. The game is scheduled to launch on 24 October 2024 for Nintendo Switch and PC platforms.
