Vegas Legion Rebrand To Vegas Falcons: A New Era In The Call of Duty League
The Call of Duty League (CDL) has welcomed its latest addition, the Vegas Falcons, marking the end of the Vegas Legion’s run. Team Falcons, a Saudi Arabia-based organisation, has officially taken over the CDL spot previously held by the Vegas Legion, ahead of the 2024/2025 season.

Contrary to speculation, the Vegas Falcons will retain the same roster that competed in the 2024 Esports World Cup, featuring players Exnid, KingAbody, Roxas, and Khhx. This All-Saudi lineup achieved a respectable Top 16 finish, securing US$20,000 in prize money. Despite the change in branding, the team will continue to represent Las Vegas, even as the CDL’s city-based model faces uncertainty.
The Vegas Legion, originally known as the Paris Legion since their inception in 2019, relocated to Las Vegas in 2022. After five years in the league, the Legion brand has officially been retired with this ownership transfer. The previous roster, including Attach, Gio, oJohnny, Nero, and coach Theory has been released, and their next steps remain uncertain as the off-season Rostermania unfolds.
This news comes following Cloud9’s acquisition of the New York Subliners franchise. As other teams consider their future in the CDL, rumours suggest that organisations like Fnatic, Gen.G, Team Liquid, and Spacestation Gaming are eyeing potential entries. With the Vegas Falcons now a reality, the CDL landscape continues to evolve, hinting at more significant shifts in the near future.
