Xenoblade Chronicles Developer Monolith Soft Is Hiring For A New JRPG
By Alleef Ashaari|August 5, 2024|0 Comment
The Monolith Soft 1st Production team has announced that they are currently hiring for a new JRPG directed by Tetsuya Takahashi. The studio is best known for developing the Xenoblade Chronicles games for Nintendo Switch.
In a message on the hiring website, director Takahashi didn’t provide any details about the game but confirmed that the new JRPG will take on more new challenges compared to their previous games. However, this doesn’t seem to indicate anything much at the moment.
The job positions include a 2D artwork staff designer, 3D CG character designer, 3D CG map designer, development environment engineer, field-level designer, assistant director, in-game animator, and an effects designer. What this means is that the game will probably still be far from release and is likely in early development.
The studio’s most recent game was 2022’s Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.
