Publisher Team17 and developer The Game Kitchen have announced a major expansion and a free update for Blasphemous 2, set to launch on Halloween 2024.

The DLC, titled Mea Culpa, will focus on the lost sword wielded by The Penitent One in the first game, introducing new bosses, zones, NPC comrades, abilities, enemies, quests, achievements, and the powerful artefact, The Mea Culpa. Plus, a free ‘True Torment’ update will bring New Game+ and expanded versions of existing zones, along with new challenges.

As for the True Torment content, it’s seamlessly integrated into the base game, offering a challenge that caters to players of all skill levels.

The DLC will be coming to Blasphemous 2 on 31st October for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Priced at $11.99 (an average of RM50.39) with a two-week 20% off launch discount, alongside the free True Torment update.
