Inti Creates Announces Card-en-Ciel Pre-Order, Including Exclusive Bonus Game

Inti Creates has made an exciting announcement the anticipated card-battling RPG roguelite, Card-en-Ciel, is now available for pre-order as of today, 25 September 2024 for PC and Nintendo Switch.

For Nintendo Switch pre-purchases, players will receive a 10% discount on the game. Similarly, PC players who pre-purchase on Steam will also enjoy the same discount, along with a bonus 2D action game called Divine Dynamo Flamefrit. In this game, inspired by 90s games and anime, you take on the role of the hero Yuta Hino and set out on a journey to restore peace to the fantasy realm of Hologard. Get ready to pilot the magical robot Flamefrit for first-person boss battles and top-down slashing adventure stages.

Originally conceived as a fictional title within the world of Card-en-Ciel, Divine Dynamo Flamefrit became a reality due to overwhelming fan reaction to an April Fools’ teaser. The game will see a full release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC at a later date.

Fans who pre-purchase Card-en-Ciel on Steam only will have the opportunity to obtain Flamefrit ahead of schedule. Take note that this offer is exclusive to the pre-purchase period.

For those unfamiliar with Card-en-Ciel, the game allows players to navigate virtual dungeons as the “Gaming Chair Detective,” solving cases in the digital world. Players can challenge the main characters of the invading games through deckbuilding, introducing the potential for creative combos, especially when combined with special Muse cards that offer new passive abilities lasting for the entire battle. For more insights, be sure to check out our written preview of the game.

Card-en-Ciel to launch on 24 October 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
