FromSoftware has just rolled out a new patch that brings a plethora of balance changes and bug fixes to Elden Ring, including to its recent DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. The update, officially known as 1.14, is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
One of the most notable aspects of the update is the adjustments made to the final boss in Shadow of the Erdtree, Promised Consort Radahn, aimed at making it easier for players. Changes include tweaks to the boss’s action pattern at the start of the battle, modifications to certain attack moves, decreased damage from specific attacks, and improvements in attack visibility.
The update also addresses PvP-specific balance adjustments, general balance tweaks, and fixes for various long-standing bugs. These bug fixes range from addressing issues with rune acquisition to correcting player motions while using lock-on for multiple skills. For a full list of changes, players can refer to the patch notes available on the Bandai Namco website.
Since its official release in February 2022, Elden Ring has garnered widespread acclaim, quickly rising to the top of the charts on platforms like Steam. The soulslike action RPG is famous for its challenging boss battles and storytelling, has achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim. Plus, the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree continues to provide players hours of grueling epic experience.
