Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist Prepares For Full Launch In January 2025
By Lewis Larcombe|September 10, 2024|0 Comment
The dark fantasy Metroidvania Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is gearing up for its official 1.0 release on 22 January 2025. Following its Early Access debut on Steam, the full version will expand to multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S.
Set in a decaying world where artificial beings, known as Homunculi, have turned against humanity, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist plunges players into a gripping journey of redemption. You’ll step into the shoes of Lilac, an Attuner, tasked with purifying the corrupted souls of these hybrids while uncovering the dark forces behind their downfall.
As a sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights—which sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide—Ender Magnolia continues the story decades after the events of “The Rain of Death.” Players can expect over 35 hours of gameplay, featuring new bosses to defeat, powerful abilities to unlock, and expansive biomes to explore. Each boss conquered will join Lilac’s mission, offering up to 30 unique abilities to customize your combat style. Whether you prefer short-range strikes, long-range projectiles, or auto-targeting attacks, the options are plentiful.
The world of Ender Magnolia is rich in lore, and as Lilac gains new powers, previously inaccessible areas of the map will open up. By gathering gold and machine parts, players can purchase valuable upgrades at the Blacksmith’s shop. Piece together the history of the Land of Fumes through Lilac’s lost memories, revealing the tragic collapse of this once-thriving kingdom.
The game’s melancholic yet whimsical soundtrack is once again composed by the international indie band Mili, known for their work in the Ender Lilies series.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist will be available digitally for US$24.99 on consoles and US$19.99 (around RM49) on Steam. A physical edition is also in the works, with pre-orders launching soon in Japan. More details for other regions are expected at a later date.
For those eager to preview the full release, an announcement trailer showcasing the game’s combat, eerie environments, and formidable bosses is now available.
Originally launched in Early Access in March 2024, Ender Magnolia expands on the world and mechanics introduced in its predecessor. In the toxic Land of Fumes, Lilac, awakened in a mysterious lab, must wield her powers to save the Homunculi—once created to aid the kingdom, but now gone rogue due to the poisonous Fumes.
Mark your calendars for January 2025 as Ender Magnolia promises an unforgettable journey through a world teetering on the edge of destruction.
