By Lewis Larcombe|September 26, 2024|0 Comment
Fans have long awaited the return of Dizzy in GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-, and after three years, the queen is finally making her comeback. Arc System Works gave us our first peek at Dizzy during their Tokyo Game Show 2024 broadcast, teasing her arrival in STRIVE’s Season 4.
Though it wasn’t a full gameplay reveal, the footage featured a battle intro between Sol and Queen Dizzy, offering a glimpse of the dynamic between these two characters. The queen’s updated look dazzled fans, and we won’t have to wait long to see her in action. Queen Dizzy is set to join the roster as the first DLC fighter for Season 4 on 31 October, right on Halloween.

But that’s not all—ArcSys also laid out their plans for the rest of Season 4. A major balance update is coming at the end of next month, alongside a second open beta for Strive’s Team of 3 mode from 8–11 November, which has been fine-tuned based on feedback from the first test.
Looking ahead, more fighters are in the pipeline. Venom is expected to arrive in early 2025, followed by Unika from the upcoming Guilty Gear anime in the spring, and Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners next summer.
To top it off, ArcSys revealed Dizzy’s full character portrait, showing off her sleek new design. And for those curious about Chipp, the ninja will also receive some exciting updates, including two new moves—Welcome Tightrope and Tightrope Run—that allow him to set up and interact with a rope across the screen in unpredictable ways.
You can catch Queen Dizzy’s intro video, character portrait, and the full Season 4 roadmap below, along with a sneak peek of Chipp’s latest tricks.
