Monster Hunter Wilds announced as part of Capcom’s Lineup for Gamescom Asia 2024

Capcom has unveiled the exciting lineup for Gamescom Asia 2024, promising attendees a chance to dive into some of the most highly anticipated titles from the company. The event will be jam-packed with playable demos, revamped classics, and a thrilling esports tournament.
Stealing the spotlight is Monster Hunter Wilds, making its first appearance in Southeast Asia with playable demo stations. Scheduled for a 2025 release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. This action RPG is sure to captivate players with its “best-in-class combat” in taking down fearsome monsters.
Plus, attendees can get their hands on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, featuring an enhanced version of the beloved 2006 zombie-hunting classic. With fully voiced, supports auto-saves, and has various other quality-of-life features, the game will hit digital platforms on 19 September 2024, followed by a physical release for PS5 on 8 November 2024.
Fans of fighting games are in for a treat with Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. This compilation boasts seven classic Marvel and Capcom collaboration titles, including X-Men: Children of the Atom and Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. Digital version will be available on 12 September 2024, with physical versions hitting the shelves on 22 November 2024. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will also be part of the playable lineup, offering visitors a taste of its unique Kagura Action Strategy gameplay.
Street Fighter 6 fans can try out the guest character Terry Bogard from SNK’s Fatal Fury series. Terry can be acquired with Fighter Coins, Year 2 Character Pass, or Year 2 Ultimate Pass.
Adding to the excitement, Capcom will host the Capcom Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Singapore on the show floor. This Street Fighter 6 tournament will see players battling it out for spots in Capcom Cup 11 in Japan, where the ultimate champion will walk away with an incredible $1 million USD grand prize. Taking place in Singapore from 17 – 20 October, Gamescom Asia will feature a business and public exhibition, an industry conference, and a variety of programs for the public. With over 150 exhibitors and an expected 40,000 visitors, the event promises a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of excitement for all gaming enthusiasts.
