A recent leak has hinted at the possible addition of a highly anticipated character to the Marvel Rivals‘ roster. The team-based PVP shooter is set to feature a total of 25 playable characters at launch, including iconic figures like Captain America, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther.

What sets Marvel Rivals apart is the ability for players to create unique combinations between characters, unleashing powerful Team-Up Skills. Imagine riding on Groot’s back as Rocket Raccoon or harnessing Gamma energy as Hulk to charge Iron Man’s armor for devastating attacks.

Back in August, developers have teased the inclusion of some “deep cuts” in the game’s roster, hinting at the potential for lesser-known characters from Marvel’s extensive universe to join the fray. And it seems the latest leak may have unveiled one such addition – Psylocke.

According to the leak via X/Twitter, Psylocke, known for her appearances in the X-Men universe, is likely to make her debut in Marvel Rivals. The character’s redesigned look, featuring a blend of beautiful butterfly motifs and intense ninja action, has already attracted fans, with many expressing their eagerness to make Psylocke their main character once she becomes available.

For those unfamiliar with Psylocke, she is a prominent character in the X-Men universe, known for her telekinetic superpowers. Throughout the years, she has been depicted with various designs, storylines, and identities, and her abilities include mind-reading, thought projection, psychic blasts, and teleportation.

While an official release date for Psylocke is yet to be confirmed, the excitement among Marvel Rivals fans is palpable as they eagerly await NetEase Games’ official announcement.
