Sony Unveils Stunning Chroma Collection Accessories for PlayStation

Sony has announced three new colours for the DualSense wireless controllers, along with matching console covers. The new Chroma Collection has three stunning new colours that promise to bring a whole new level of style to your PlayStation 5 setup.

The Chroma Pearl controller transitions between chic pinks and creams, while the Chroma Indigo shifts between deep blues and vivid purples. Lastly, the Chroma Teal shimmers through several fresh shades of green. These controllers are designed to shine, shimmer, and shift colours from every angle, offering a truly unique aesthetic.

Leo Cardoso and Satoshi Aoyagi from the PlayStation Color, Material, and Finish design team have expressed their excitement via the PlayStation blog:

“We’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to launch this collection and are thrilled to take this next colorful step in our journey. With a sleek, multichromatic finish that wrap around the entire controller, you’ll notice we’ve carefully refined the colors of every DualSense element to perfectly complement the playful, iridescent transitions.”

“Chroma Indigo moves between blue and purple, two fan-favorite colors. Chroma Teal combines yellow-green and blue-green into a fresh and exquisite shade. And if you love the Original White DualSense, you won’t want to miss out on the subtlety and elegance of the Chroma Pearl.”

The Chroma DualSense wireless controllers will be available for a recommended retail price of $79.99 USD / RM329.88, while the Chroma console covers for PlayStation 5 will be priced at $64.99 USD / RM268.01.

Excitingly, the Chroma Collection will be available for pre-order on the Direct PlayStation website starting 3 October 2024. Pre-orders will commence at 10pm Malaysia time (10am ET in the U.S.). However, the launch date and availability of the accessories may vary by region.
